  • Some soreness in the day or two following a deep tissue massage is completely normal - it’s a sign your muscles are responding and adapting. Drinking plenty of water and gentle movement will help it pass quickly.

  • For chronic tension or ongoing issues, once every 1-2 weeks is a good starting point. As your body rseponds and things start to release, you may find a monthly maintenance sessions are enough to keep you feeling your best/

  • Deep tissue work uses firm, slow pressure. The goal is to work at the edge of your comfort zone, not beyond it. You’re always in control and can ask for more or less pressure at any point.
